It's been seven years since the Hollow was imprisoned inside the Mikaelsons and five years since Klaus decided to keep his distance from Nina, Hope and Kenner to keep them safe. After being away for two years, Nina moved back to New Orleans to help Vincent, Freya and Josh run the city in peace and is now the leader the Crescent Wolf Pack after Hayley names her Alpha so she can build a life with Elijah in France. But it isn't long before trouble stirs in New Orleans and the Mikaelsons reunite to fight their latest threat.

Klaus' questions leads him to a reunion with his diabolical former protégé, Marcel, a charismatic vampire who has total control over the human and supernatural inhabitants of New Orleans. Determined to help his brother find redemption, Elijah follows Klaus and soon learns that the werewolf Nina has also come to the French Quarter searching for clues on her family history, and has fallen into the hands of a powerful witch named Sophie. Tensions between the town's supernatural factions are nearing a breaking point as Marcel commands his devoted followers and rules with absolute power. For Klaus, the thought of answering to his powerful protégé is unthinkable, and he vows to reclaim what was once his - the power, the city, and his family. While they wait to see if their sister Rebekah will leave Mystic Falls and join them, Klaus and Elijah form an uneasy alliance with the witches to ensure that New Orleans will be ruled by the Originals once again.

Tyler Lockwood, the first successful hybrid created by Niklaus Mikaelson, wants revenge against his sire for ruining his life. Nina Chase and Hayley Marshall, two werewolves who helped him break his sire bond, arrive in town to help him, but are secretly working with Atticus Shane for information on their biological families. While Hayley and Tyler keep up appearances to distract Klaus for discovering their plans, Nina finds herself drawn to the Original Hybrid despite her better judgement.

Nina Chase has been a part of the Mikaelson family for 8 years, she even fell in love and recently married the Original Hybrid, Klaus. After imprisoning The Hollow, the Mikaelson family was forced to divide and never see each other ever again. Nina was left with the most difficult decision of her life - to leave her home, her family and everyone she loves. Nina and Hope relocate to Mystic Falls to start their new life. Hope attends the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted while Nina tries to live her life without Klaus. Then Nina discovers that she is pregnant again - the second miracle fathered by Klaus. Soon, Nina struggles with how her vampire side could affect her unborn child and if she should tell Klaus. She knew how hard it was for him to leave Hope, but what would happen if he learns that he has another child? Would he come running back with The Hollow still inside him? [Note: This is not based on the show in any way. This story will tie Season 4 and Season 5 together when it airs. All of this is purely my creation.
