Jack is living under horrible circumstances, but Felix keeps the wool pulled over his eyes with promises of protection from others. Mark lives in a frat house with some of the most intimidating guys on campus, but in reality, they're all goofy gamer guys that just so happen to love heavy metal and piercings. Jack and Mark met one day in July during a heavy metal concert; not under the best circumstances, but it sends them both into a spell of quixotry that will last for the rest of their lives.
