Liam and Zayn were the power couple in their high school, Liam being the captain of the football team and Zayn being the captain of the dance team. Everyone around school loved them, and knew they would both amount to a lot, sticking together forever. Or at least that's what they thought. One day, Liam went missing, no one, not even Zayn, knowing where he had gone off to or where he was. Or is someone had taken him. The news went worldwide, since Liam was well known as the guy who had been offered a full scholarship to the university of his choice and had been accepted to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Colombia, Berkeley and Cambridge Universities. Making it a top priority to find him. Well, that was the plan at first, anyway. Zayn didn't know what to do, with Liam missing and having to worry about whether or not he was okay, let alone alive, put Zayn on edge as he spent his last year in high school without him. Going through depression, and so many other things. Some things he never thought he would ever experience in his life. But as the days and months go by where Liam hasn't return, and there is no sign of him, it makes it hard on Zayn to learn to live without him.

The one where Zayn is a humble fifteen year old who's has spent over half his life in and out of hospitals trying to fight his endless battle with cancer, while Liam is a slightly conceited sixteen year old who's used to life always going his way. Watch what happens when the two opposite boys meet one another. Will they become friends, enemies, or something more than either could imagine?

It's such a surprise that Liam, the good boy in school, gets his first detention. So when he goes to serve it, what happens when Zayn, his crush the bad boy, shows up for detention too? What happens when they are the only two people in the room? Will Liam's frist detention be something he'll never forget? Or something he wishes to forget?

Zayn Malik wasn't exactly your typical 17 year old but not in some awful way. He liked reading, writing, singing and art. He even enjoyed school. He wasn't popular but wasn't an outcast nonetheless. He had two good friends, Louis and Niall. None of them were ever bullied and they all grew up pretty well. Sure there were some bumps in the road but nothing serious. Both Zayn and Louis were openly gay and Niall claimed to be straight. But Zayn's gaydar constantly went off around him. So he wouldn't exactly be surprised if Niall ever came out as gay or even bi for that matter. The three of them were all good kids, Louis sometimes being the one to push everyones boundaries. All in all, Zayn was just, Zayn. Liam Payne on the other hand, wasn't your average 17 year old either. He was in a gang. He had a few piercings, multiple tattoos, he smoked. The exact opposite of Zayn. He had a tough life, never wanting to let anyone in. He refused to let people know his feelings, he knew they didn't care, everyone would only pity him if he ever let them in. So what's a better way to hide your emotions, then stir up other peoples? He was the head of the gang. Harry and Josh being both his best friends and his backup. There was a couple others in the gang no one of importance in Liam's opinion.

Liam and Zayn both work at this big company where they first meet at. Liam has more of a higher title than Zayn though and always overworks himself. Luckily, Zayn is there. Zayn is just Liam's assistant that is always willing to help him with anything.. literally.

"Please, Sir, let me repay you. Your act of kindness doesn't deserve to go unnoticed." The boy begs me with hopeful eyes. I stare at him with a hard face, making sure to show no emotion. The boy looks around, down at his newspaper and his coin cup. He looks down at the heart pendent around his neck. He undoes the clip at the back and takes my hand, wrapping the necklace snugly inside. "It was my mothers. It represents my heart. I'm passing it on to you now, Sir. She would've been proud of me to give it to such an amazing man." I rub the pendent in between my fingers and think about smiling. But instead I shake my head and try to give it back to him. He pushes my hand away. "No, take it. You can have my heart, because it's the only gift I can give to show how much I love you." His words shocked me, but at that moment, I ran off. I'm afraid to start developing feelings for this boy. I haven't had feelings like this since.. him. I remember glancing back at that boy, seeing his sad eyes.
