Completed Stiles "accidentally" let it slip to a group of very popular girls that he was gay, which really meant he had a master plan to get a hot girlfriend. Stiles "accidentally" bumped into the most popular girl in school, which really meant he wanted her to notice him and his gayness, just so they could become best friends. Stiles "accidentally" made it clear to all of the openly gay boys in school that he was available, which really meant he wanted this whole gay thing to seem real, so Lydia HAD to believe him. Stiles "accidentally" told Derek Hale he'd go to the winter dance with him, which really meant he wanted Lydia to see them together and believe this whole scheme. The only thing Stiles actually did on accident, was fall in love with the captain of the lacrosse team, Derek Hale.

Derek Hale has made many mistakes in his life and being gay wasn't going to be one of them. He is going to find a nice shewolf to settle down with so he can rebuild the Hale name. It's the least he could do to right all the damage he caused after Paige and Kate. His Uncle Peter told him that if he wanted to make things right he had to fall in line. Derek was ready and willing. If only a certain blond would get out of his ear and a certain someone would stop being so damned distracting.

Stiles is sick, but doesn't want Derek to see him this way so he goes to his old house and puts mountain ash around it to keep Derek away. Derek finds a way.
