Elliot was the "nerdy" girl you saw sitting in the middle to front of the class. She was one of those few rare people that didn't have to open their text book to know the answer to a question. She is an intelligent 14 year old that skipped two grades, making her a junior in high school. You'd think she'd get bullied for her smarts, but no one paid attention to her. After all she barely spoke, wore all black, grey, or white, and walked silently through the school halls. But that was before the bad boys of her school found out she's a graffiti artist. Before she started a fight at school because a guy hurt her best friend and before she broke into her schools rivaling school, making her run into a loner that's just like her.

Music is Claire's dream, but it seems like the universe is telling her to quit. And now with her dad's diagnosis of Alzheimer's, it's becoming harder to keep her promise to him- to pursue her dream with everything she has. Just as she decides to give it up for good, she gets one more chance to make it big- but it requires rebuilding some tense relationships from her past. And, of course, it's not as easy as just playing friends again. Casanova, the city's notorious graffiti artist, hasn't had any new ideas for the last year. He's been stuck, unsure if he'd ever paint again. But as he's finally coaxed back out of hiding to do what he's best at once again, he's met with opposition from not only the mayor who is hell-bent on ridding the city of graffiti, but other artists as well. The two of them are entangled in each other's success-- or failure-- even if they don't know it just yet.
