Charlie had it harder than most of the kids of her age, more than once. Changed from one foster home to another, finally, she manages to escape the system but it's only for a brief moment, she's sent back to hell. Again, she's introduced to a new family; The Harris. With the always so serious police officer Mr. Harris and oh-so-perfect blondie Mrs. Harris, and of course, let us not forget their handsome quarterback son; Dean Harris. Forced to coexist in the same house with the prick that keeps calling you a smurf sure sounds like fun. A humorous story about how all stereotypes can go f*** themselves.

It was pity that first made Dannie speak to him. She had known Ryan since she was a kid, but he had always been the popular Golden Boy, and she had always been the tomboy that didn’t mind not having any friends. It was odd, she had thought, that all the popular kids who had once kissed the ground he walked on, didn’t so much spared him a glance anymore, and it was this that made her sit with him that one faithful day and begin something that would only end up causing her pain.

In which survival is put through the ultimate test. It is said that the supernatural world was like a thin sheet of glass - for it was far too harmonic; far too fragile for those to wreak havoc upon. She was a crack in that glass, threatening to welcome all darkness that crawled from the grim abyss. She didn't ask for this. She didn't ask to be indomitable. She didn't ask to be perfect. Blue eyes. I was always a sucker for blue eyes. Every guy I've ever gone out with has blue eyes. I've seen all different shades. From midnight blue to so light that they almost look grey. But never have I seen eyes as blue as Tyler Hasting's. When you were in a room with poor lighting, they looked like any old blue eyes, not too dark and not too light. But when he is in the sun, they twinkle and swirl like the ocean. They have the obvious blue with an underlying current of green. It's not just his eyes that I've fallen for, he has dark brown hair and a chiseled face. His body isn't half bad either. I've had a crush on him since ninth grade, but I've known him longer. How do you not know him when he's captain of the football team, dating the head cheerleader, most popular guy in school, and did I forget to mention he's my best friend's older brother?
