We go back in time to before Trubel found out she was a Grimm and live through a single day of what it was like at the Milford State Mental Institution. Every now and then, especially from the chef, you hear screams of terror in the night; echoes of the horrific past that will never truly fade. One must wonder what exactly it is they have seen with their eyes that were once so hard and so cold.
