Kara Tilling is your typical teenager-well, more or less. Spending time with her fashionable best friend and her nerdy boyfriend are major parts of her day. He reveals a whole new world to her that she never knew existed, but when he vanishes, it's up to her to decide what she does next, with a little help from her friends and family. She experiences adventure, romance, and a little magic, and has to learn who to trust while an unknown evil lurks just beyond her reach.
