A long time ago there was a war between humans and monsters. Everyone knows that story, but few know of an alternate reality where that war was only the first of many. After the monsters were forced underground, their world became a war-zone. Many years after the war, a tyrannical king runs the underground, completely disregarding his subjects and taking everything for himself. But the Underground is changing and soon, there will be an uprising. Begin: Summer 2017 Complete: ???

A series of small stories attached to a few different skeletons. Some are a few chapters, some are one-shots. A companion compilation to "Reset," meant to add a few explanations, flesh out some details, and play with some post-Pacifist-Ending ideas.

"Promise me one thing- just one thing only." Frisk nodded vigorously. "No one can know about this whole reset thing. Not Papyrus, not Asgore, not anyone. It would basically bring this world to the point of falling to pieces at our feet. If we weren't trapped between time and space already, very few of us wouldn't be able to handle that knowledge, and could drive those who couldn't to the edge. So, please. I'm begging you. When you reach the End, when you get us out of here for the umpteenth time, I don't care if you reset or not. Just don't tell anyone about it, and... Please don't go homicidal again, okay?" Frisk smiled meekly, and nodded. "I can do that. And don't worry about the reset." They gave Sans a small hug. "After that whole thing with Chara, there won't be any more." And with the final word, they opened the door to leave; before exiting they paused. "See you later."

Ever since the barrier was broken and monsters rose to the surface once more, it seemed like despite the odd reception that they received from the Humans of Ebott, everything was starting to take a turn for the better. But almost a year later, the others couldn't help but notice something different...specifically...SANS was different. The usual laid-back, wise-cracking skeleton was acting...strange. His smile was forced, he didn't tell jokes, he's deprived of sleep, and the demons that were thought to have been put to bed ages ago keep rising back to the surface to torment him. A human fell into the Underground, and began befriending every monster they came across, including the skeleton brothers. Their acts of kindness seemed to be genuine, giving the monsters no reason to distrust them... Until the human pulled a one-eighty and killed Sans when everyone least expected it. This is the story of how Papyrus grieved over his older brother's death, how he discovered the truth about his mysterious sibling... and eventually, how he decides to avenge his sibling's murder. But in the end he'll forget everything once the timeline resets again, right? That's what he's afraid of. (Based on the AU "Disbelief Papyrus," but with an original twist. There are no pairings except for what's canon. This is mainly Papyrus-centric, but it does focus on mystery of Sans during the story.)
