Clara Toms was 17. Two years before, at the tender age of 15, she developed an eating disorder and struggled with it endlessly. Things only seemed to escalate when her family told her they were all moving to a quiet new town, the absolute polar opposite of sunny California where she previously resided in. She was forced to leave her city life for a quiet, country-town one and her whole life as she knew it was turned upside-down. With no friends to help her out, Clara suffered through what was the worst week of her entire life, the week before school began. Trying to keep her disorder from her family was proving to be more and more difficult and she was mentally and physically exhausted. That is, until school began and she came to realise that maybe change wasn't such a bad thing. She met Cam Miller, the gorgeous boy who made her believe that everything gets better in time, as long as it's wanted bad enough. She also met Kyra Duncan, the shy, friendly girl who wanted nothing more than to help her through her disorder and show her amazing life can be. Or so it seemed.
