"This night is sparkling, don't you let it go I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home I'll spend forever wondering if you knew I was enchanted to meet you" {I've been working on this for a few weeks, like before Christmas, so that I could post it regularly. Enjoy! Thanks to my friend who is always spitballing ideas with me. We came up with this idea while jamming to Taylor Swift one evening and I never really expected it to become quite so long.}

Everything Mitch had always done was perfect. His parents and everyone around him always told him so. He even kept his life on a tight schedule, just to keep things perfect. He was excited for his senior year to be perfect, but after a certain tall blond gets Mitch in trouble, he gets a much needed wake-up call.

Its the traditional story, with the one exception no one heard of. Mitch had waited and waited for the number on his shoulder reached 0. He had waited for just over 18 years. 219 months. 6,758 days. And now the day was here. On this day, he was destined to meet his soulmate. Or so he thought.

"Make him remember you. Every day. Do something that will make him fall for you. Be yourself, and captivate him." "Surprise him. Make him fall in love with you, just like he can make you fall in love with him in less than a day. Give him something to talk about when he's old and reflects on life... about the night that his forgetful boy took him by surprise." "Falling for someone is a scary thing, but it makes it a whole lot better when someone is holding your hand through it all."

Mitch Grassi is poor. Everyone just tosses him aside and makes no big deal out of him, and to top it all off, he lives in the streets. When in an alley one night, he meets a man names Scott Hoying. Scott seems to be the only person who cares about Mitch. How will meeting Scott benefit Mitch, especially since they have big secrets they don't want the other to know...

Mitch lived alone. He had the same routine everyday that made him feel stable. That all changed when a new face moved into the apartment above his own.

I'll hold his hand only once. I'll hug him only once. I'll kiss him only once. I'll hate him only once. I'll love him only once. No wait, that's a lie...

Mitch is the new kid at school, and he almost always has his nose in a comic book or just a book such as Harry Potter. Scott notices he likes comic books, and starts talking to him. When Scott sees what's inside the comic, he realizes something about Mitch that gives him a little bit of hope between the two of them.
