We all know what happened to Peun and Talay, but no one said what happened to Pakorn and Tess. We all deserve to know how it went for them... so, here is my imagination! I am planning to deliver the story in a few parts. So, if you get ideas while reading, share them with me so that I can add them to the story! let's create our own version of Vice Versa with Tess and Pakorn.

"I write to facilitate myself with my deepest emotions." How much can a book cover hold or represent? How authentic can the artwork of a book jacket be? What stories do they tell? Do these covers bear the artistic weight of their books? Through deeply personal episodes, the writer talks about the complex ideas of book covers and his complicated relationship with them. -------------------------------------------------------- *Featured Book Of The Month by @nonfiction* 🥇MajesticInc Awards 2019 for Nonfiction 🥈The Talent Awards 2019 for Random 🥉The Literati Awards 2021, Category 1.

A possible future in less than 500 words, if plastic wins. This was my entry for the WattPad/National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic competition back in late 2018. It reached their Top 10 Submissions which, given that there appeared to be well over 5000 entries, was a very pleasant surprise! The competition itself had a limit of 500 words so, for those who keep asking if I intend continuing the story, the answer (for now!) is no - unless I can find a very good reason for adding any more. Many thanks to everyone reading and voting on this story and getting it to number 1 in the #sciencefiction category in May/June 2020! I did try to thank the voters individually on their pages but Wattpad have a daily limit on the number of times I'm allowed to do that and there are now too many of you (not that I'm complaining)! Here's the top 10 submissions page: https://www.wattpad.com/list/738243473-planetorplastic-top-10-submissions If you want to read the story in Polish please head over to https://www.wattpad.com/story/236405960-m%C4%85dro%C5%9B%C4%87-staro%C5%BCytnych-t%C5%82umaczenie-pl where @juliatlumaczy has done a fine job - thank you, Julia! @juliatlumaczy has now sent me a version of the cover she used for her Polish translation - thanks again, Julia! @alex_sokolova has also translated the story into Russian as well. You can read that here: https://www.wattpad.com/976002417-мудрость-древних - many thanks, Alex! We now have a third translation! @AlfonsoLucassen has kindly translated it into Spanish and you can find it here: https://www.wattpad.com/1063634347-la-sabidur%C3%ADa-de-los-antiguos

A man with a tie is discovered outside the limits of a dried-up settlement in the middle of nowhere, bearing a plague that was long thought to be contained behind the walls of Ban-Ken. When it is discovered that he intends to spread the disease beyond the great city, it is up to Drew Hughes, a private alcoholic, and a loud-mouthed orphan, Alyn Smythy, to brave the city's walls and put a stop to the man-made plague before its power falls into the wrong hands. Tahro Akagi shouldn't live in two worlds at once. Yet, forced to spend his days studying by a no-nonsense mother, he longs for adventure. In a moment of desperation, Tahro's soul splits in two. While one of his selves remains in Japan, the other finds himself in Saishuu Riku, the lands of his favourite book. Engrossed in this world more than he ever thought possible, Tahro saves a character's life. But if a butterfly's wings can bring thunderstorms, then his every breath is another flap as it flies- his every heartbeat a danger to those around him. Unwittingly, he becomes entangled in a web of conspiracies between ministers, a murderous witch and a kidnapper with butterfly-patterned knives. Tahro learns he's changed the plot too much. Events that should happen don't and his new friends are caught in a crossfire he wants no part in. And when his friend is kidnapped, saving her could put everyone else in danger. Yet Tahro can't stand by and watch. *** I update every Saturday. Blurb written with the help of @catlegis. ***Featured in YA SCI-FI & FANTASY, SECRET TREASURES and WATTPAD UNDISCOVERED STORIES 2019 *** "The truth can be weathered, eroded; it's every shade of grey that lives in the mist; it's sunrise and sunset and everything in between. . ." Kass is a goat-farmer who dreams of escaping his hopeless village. Sammi is an outcast, determined to save her sister who is slowly dying from the toxin-sickness. And Rai is a privileged drone-racer who works hard, parties hard, and feels. . . nothing. One cracks the earth. One weaves the wind. One dances with the waves. They have never met - but together, they are The Elementalists: weapons created by the resistance to overthrow the dictatorship of their toxic world. Life-changing events rip the trio from their homes, from their lives, and the resistance sends them on a perilous quest: to destroy three mysterious 'capsules' that hold the dictatorship together. But in the face of so many lies, twists and betrayals, Kass, Sammi and Rai - the most dangerous weapons on Tellus - must make tough choices. About who to save. . . And who to destroy.
