After having enough of her own life, Jenna sneaks out of her house to hopefully escape her thoughts and problems. Fortunately, she runs into her online inspiration, Markiplier, but not the way she always hoped, so she pretends she has no idea who he is. Feeling bad, Mark takes her in, giving her a fresh start and an escape of her life she no longer wants to deal with. Feelings start to grow between the both of them, but Mark tries to suppress his due to a 9 year age difference. This escape doesn't last long, as Jenna's family, friends, and mainly, her abusive ex start to get in the way and suspect something Jenna may be hiding. Mark's YouTube and personal life starts to get greatly affected since he does not want to expose his and Jenna's life. Lies start to build between everyone and eventually all will have to be faced.
