In the meantime, an OCD-suffering doctor, Dr. Perry Hunter, begins to witness strange and eerie accountings in Saint Mary's Hospital, especially to do with Xara. He also starts to question humanity and his own origins, yet all such plans are thwarted by an incognito enemy on the run from the law of a thousand years ago for rape and cannibalism.
