As the Twilight begins to frost over Hyrule, [Name] comes across the shattered remnants of Demise's sword. (Skyward Sword/Twilight Princess x Fem!Reader)

They're always on they're toes. They can't trust anyone but themselves. Or can they even trust themselves? Each other? Link, Zelda and Ganondorf. The famous triforce. When the goddesses send a sign of a magical fountain to Faron Woods, and Zelda miraculously leads Link and Ganondorf towards it, they are sent on a quest to save their world from a deadly rising power. But when Ganondorf is able to taste the power of revenge, an evil man is ready to take the triforce that lies upon his hand and use it for his own being. What will happen when jealousy, anger, and hatred take the quest by hand? And who is this being that lives within Ganondorf, without him even knowing it?

Far from the lands of Hyrule, our hero Link lives as an eighth grade boy in an orphanage full of his old companions. The problem is, they don't have any memory of their true lives. But, when a young girl stumbles into the hands of headmaster Deku, the master of the orphanage, a faraway memory begins to stir deep in his dreams. Link: a rogue troublemaker who steals from village people, flirts with all the women, and tortures the people of Hyrule. Living life the way he wants it, no rules, and not a care in the world. Zelda: a woman who gets tangled with the wrong people and doesn’t know that she was kidnapped as a child and is really the true ruler of Hyrule. She has a split personality where she thinks she’s Sheik, a worrier who fights for good. Ganondorf: the ruler of Hyrule who killed the king for his throne. He knows about Zelda being the real ruler but has kept that a secret this entire time. He also knows that Link is suppose to be the hero of time but doesn’t seem threatened by a rogue troublemaker. This story takes on a whole new twist of the Legend that I created. I do not own any characters, settings, or history in this story. This is just purely a fun fan fiction of the best video game ever. I hope you enjoy!

18 Year old Link lives on his own, and considers himself an expert in stealing - as it's the only way he can survive. Living on his own with no money forces him to steal food and other essential items to survive. With Epona, it's not that hard to make a trip to Castle Town once in a while, but Link's latest trip to Castle Town has left him trapped in a cell in the Castle's dungeon for prisoners. He has yet to find out that this isn't the worst thing that will happen. Zant, the King of Darkness from the Twilight world is expected to visit the King and Princess of Hyrule, but the disastrous outcome is not planned at all. Lives are lost, cities destroyed and love is sacrificed in order to return Hyrule to it's peaceful state in the Legend of Zelda, The Battle That Ended it All.
