12 year old Alice Dawn is a small town pickpocket. She lives with four other thieves in an old run down shack. But they are not the most frightening people, but rather the most jovial and cheeky. On her 13th birthday, Alice desperately want to know the answer to a burning question. Where are her real parents? How did she get here? But suddenly her life is enveloped in fear and horror when her home gets invaded by unwelcomed policemen looking for the fugitives. She escapes reluctantly promising to come back. But as she embarks upon an epic quest to answer her questions she doesn't know whether she will ever go back to that run down shack.

The masked man is on the loose and he has a plan to destroy the fairytale world and the real world to get his happy ending. But to do that he needs the help of the baddest villains of all time. Alex and Connor figure out his plan and need to stop him. Their closest friends, Red, Froggy, Mother Goose, Goldilocks, and Jack help them on their quest.
