However that all changes when he befriended a Night Fury - the most feared dragon in the archipelago - he named Toothless. They became best of friends and were inseparable. One day, Hiccup has had enough, it was his final exam in dragon killing tomorrow and he has to kill a Monstrous Nightmare the next day in front of the entire village, but he couldn't so he decides to leave Berk. Banished from Berk for befriending a Night Fury, Hiccup and Toothless leaves Berk and they are never to return. They find civilisation on another village where dragons live amongst humans known as the Island of Edon. Two years later, Hiccup and Toothless grows accustomed to their new life and explores new lands they'd never come across before. When word spread about his good deeds, Hiccup is on the run when dragon hunters wants him and Toothless. A traitor is in the midst who plans to harm those who Hiccup cared about. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Hiccup Haddock the Third was an outcast from his own village, even to his father. When he met Toothless, he felt something he has lost long ago. The belonging of a family. He never thought he could leave Berk. However, when he was chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare, his own fears were overcome by something else. The feelings to protect his own. He never thought of coming back. But fate had other plans.

What would have happened if Hiccup had left after he was nominated to slaw the Monstrous Nightmare? Well this is the story of what would have happened... Hang on thigh this is going to be wild ride!  

Five years ago Hiccup was declared dead after he went missing. However, one day Astrid and the Gang were on their entrance test (a test a test when all the 17 year olds have to survive a whole year on an island) they saw something on the beach and found out that it was an unconscious Night Fury lying next to a semi-conscious boy . Hiccup has been banished from Berk becouse of his bond with the dragons, and gotta come back in 5 years according to a stupid law. See how it goes with the people of Berk when he is gone, and when he comes back!;) *it starts after Toothless saved Hiccup from the Monsterous Nightmare, just so you know* So... Hope you enjoy:)

After getting the honour of killing a Nightmare, Hiccup leaves Berk with Toothless. It seems like he can't find peace as three years later the Hooligans find and capture him. Going back to Berk seems like a bad idea at the time, but Hiccup has to push aside all selfish reasons and help Berk. It gets a bit more difficult between a war on the horizon and the tension between his two worlds. (Irregular updates!) (Undergoing major editing and changes!)

Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.
