[Book Two] Sequel to Skinny Dipping With a Mermaid. As if losing her father and friends during the Wizarding War didn't weigh heavy enough on the heart of Nixie Dover, to lose the love of her life to imprisonment in Azkaban due to false accusations completely shattered the woman. Turning to the sea for over twelve years, Nixie prepares to spend the rest of her life among the merfolk community and her mother, until she hears a rumour through the seaweed. Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban. Determined to see if the rumours are true, Nixie ventures to the land once more only to find him but to also find the world on the brink of the Second Wizarding War. Terrified of what could occur during the second fight against the Dark Lord and his followers, Nixie is hesitant to join the fight. That is until she hears of the newest secret weapon that can not only help them win the war but stop the Dark Lord once and for all. With unfinished business to attend to with an old Hogwarts "friend" Nixie prepares herself for the final fight.

"No," he called back to her. "Please, Sirius!" He turned around, his eyebrows furrowed together. "Please?" he said. "Sirius? What's the matter with you today?" She looked down, avoiding his eyes. "Curse me!" he continued, edging closer to her. "Hex me! Go on, yell at me! Get your book back! You never let me push you around!" She stayed silent, her nose tingling and eyes becoming misty. "Talk to me," he said. She jumped, not realizing just how close he had gotten to her. She could feel his breath on her face, his body smelled clean, like soap. He placed his hand under her chin and lifted her head so she had to look at him. "Ditch class with me."

All the characters in this story (except my original ones) belong to J.K. Rowling. A light-hearted side love story of Fred Weasley and a Scottish girl that is blooming in their fifth year at Hogwarts. ---------------------------------------- *Note that this is only a side story. I have not included much details from the Harry Potter series itself, although the culture is present, to make it as light-hearted as I want it to be. Credits for the cover belongs to me. Back in their fifth year of Hogwarts, Fred and George Weasley attempted to unleash one of their pranks on the unsuspecting Hufflepuff, and when it failed, they were determined to figure out how Eleanor deflected every single one of their attempts. They discovered so much more. George discovered that knitting posed an actual threat. Fred discovered that behind the innocent knitting was a fearless badger ready to fight. Eleanor discovered that she fell in love with a boy who smelled like gunpowder and cinnamon. The war might have been over, but the adventure was far from it.
