Sam Tucker has just moved to New York. She makes friends with nerds, basketball player. She tries out for the basketball girls team, the Footsteps which are the marathon runners and cheer-leading. All in all, she is quite an active student, but she is still a nerd. What does she have to do to fit in? But, later on, she makes a total chaos of her life and is stuck as nothing but a new girl for the rest of her year.
