I walked into Sammi's hospital room, a piece of paper and a pen in my hands. I looked at my best friend lying on the bed. All her blonde, beautiful curly hair was gone and her once bright green eyes were now dull and lifeless. Her cheeks were hollow and she was deathly pale. You could see all her bones, from her lack of eating. I hated seeing her like this. I smiled at her, and sat in front of her. "I got the paper and pen. Why'd you need this anyways?" I asked confused. She slowly sat up and took the paper and pen. "Could you get me something to bare down on?" She asked nicely. I nodded and hoped up. I scanned the room and found a spiral notebook. I grabbed it and handed it to her. She set it on her legs and began scribbling down on the paper. I sat down in front of her, looking around the boring room. It could definitely use some colour to it. "Here." She said, snapping ne out of my thoughts. I turned my head and saw her holding the paper out to me. I grabbed it and looked at her messy, but readable handwriting. 'My Bucket List- 1. Escape this hell hole. 2. Go on a huge shopping spree. 3. Buy tons of candy. 4. Go on a plane. 5. Play the guitar. 6. Interview someone famous. 7. Get some paint and make hand prints on mine and your walls in our bedrooms. 8. Make a smoothie filled with candy. 9. Go backstage to a concert. 10. Meet One Direction. 11. Beat this cancer.' My eyes teared up. I wiped them away. I put the paper down and grabbed Sammi's small and frail hands. I looked at her tear filled eyes, with my own tear filled ones. "I promise, Sammi. I promise we'll do every fucking thing on this list. I don't care what it takes." I promised, nodding at her...
