But he also has plans on using the opportunity to make sure that Helen never married Menelaus and never met Paris. But isn't fated love a love like any other and nothing can stand in it's way? Or there's another twist to this story? Maybe someone else is meant to be with the prince of the Underworld? Truly, the only way is to go back through time to find answers and at the same time, figure out how to defy fate. ***Credits to @DarkLeague for the cover***

This short story, is my fictional account of a not so fictional thing that has happened to me. This is one of my very first personal stories, and I think many can relate to this (or at least I hope so) I was inspired by story called, "Ten Thoughts: On Being Love by a White Boy" which really opened my eyes to writing something so personal. I hope you guys enjoy it, this story is about the way I felt as I was falling in love with this guy, coming out of previous relationship. When I reference the words "fell" or "fall" that is my symbol for love. Have a mention my relationships are crazy? You can read and find out! :)) I hope you enjoy my first short story.

[Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices. Nothing much is going right for shy, bubbly nineteen-year-old Ashleigh Apple. The first guy she ever felt she loved has a brand new girlfriend. Her family never take her seriously. Her best friends are moving away... and sometimes they don't feel much like friends to begin with. Everyone around her is moving on with their lives while she stays exactly the same. Until one night, a chance encounter with an exciting boy shakes her up and makes her realise there is more to life than being the safe, predictable Ash that everyone knows and loves. But sometimes people don't change for the better. And sometimes it's easy to miss the people who are best for us. --- FIRST LOVE, WORST LOVE is the third story in the "Love Story Series" (First two titles are "Reasons To Love A Nerd" Like Me and "Could You Love An Apple?") - but can also be read as a standalone for those new to the series. Everything just wasn't going well-right. So after a couple of sips of wine, she ended up 'praying' for some kind of distraction instead. Who knew the heavens answered prayers from drunk women. High school in the early 90s: it was before cell phones and social media, but the problems were the same. How do you get the guy you're interested in to notice you? What happens if you fall in love with your best friend? Why does physics class keep factoring into your love life? This novella is loosely based on my own high school experiences... but sort of an alternate version of them. You can only make one set of choices in life, so it's fun to explore what could have been - but wasn't - in fiction. Also, set in 1991-92, this is kind of a period piece now! In some ways it's a love letter to the teen books I read back in the 80s and 90s, in particular those by Ellen Conford and Paula Danzinger. I hope you enjoy it. This story was featured on Wattpad in 2016.
