Moving a few steps back he turns around when she grabs his wrist. "Where are you going?", her voice chokes in the end and he bends down slightly freeing his wrist from her hold. Hesitantly, he lies down on the other side of the bed covering himself with the same comforter. Soon, her eyelids droop due to the after effect of medicines and she slips into deep slumber. Freeing his hand from her hold he slips out of the comforter taking his place on the couch kept in front of the bed. ---✨--- Swara Maheshwari had an 'almost' perfect life. A perfect life partner with perfect in-laws who loved and treated her like their daughter. But why 'almost'?
