A group of childhood friends growing up in a small Charlotte neighborhood face the trials and tribulations of becoming aware of how small their city truly is. Consumed by the idea of meeting him, she eventually starts tending to a journal as she waits to clash with fate once again. But it's after a few years of harsh patience that Ivy finally finds herself in a new job role right behind the walls of Prince's inner sanctum--Paisley Park. Despite Paisley Park management's "don't be a fan" rule, Ivy will do anything she can to fulfill her destiny, because Prince doesn't know it yet, but he and Ivy are soulmates--at least that's what the stars in her universe read.
