It is about this normal girl Adie who moves to live with her dad in a place called Forks in Washington- where it rains and is really cloudy practically all the time. She doesn't really like it, because she used to live in Phoenix with her mom. To speed things up a bit, she falls in love with the school's pretty-boy outcast, who happens to be a vampire (Niall). Niall falls in love with her too, but her scent, her blood is like "his own personal brand of heroin" and so he fights the natural instinct to kill her as well. While trying to work through their relationship, they run into another group of vampires, one of which wants to hunt Adie.
