Life in Pesmo Beach is consistently slow and uneventful. A never-ending cycle of hot humid days and cold lonely nights. Moving to the small coastal town is Scarlett Ryan's only option since quitting the prestigious internship she'd secured after her senior year. Leaving it all behind, Scarlett heads across the country to live with her older sister, arriving with no money or friends and with no idea what to do with her life. As the days and weeks pass by Scarlett's feelings of isolation deepen until a bicycle ride and a punctured tire leads to an introduction with the sweet and charming Noah - a boy with rosy cheeks and scruffy hair. Forming an unlikely bond, the two try to navigate the storms that stir within them and the town, learning that often in life it doesn't matter how far you travel, it's those who you meet along the way that count. Valerie O'Conner has a pretty good idea of how her summer will go, and it revolves around three very simple activities: sunbathing, working at the local ice-cream parlour, and daydreaming about a world where Logan Mathews doesn't get his way. What she isn't exactly prepared for is a British tourist with a habit of pushing her out of her comfort zone. It doesn't take long for Alastair Sullivan to decide that his entertainment in sleepy Sandy Cove will be helping the town cynic find love. When Valerie's life is turned upside down by a series of promises, she's forced to battle with what she really believes in. A Young Adult story of personal growth, conflicting feelings and a whole lot of romance. Highest Rank: #37 in teen fiction.

**Winner of the 2016 Watty Awards in Visual Storytelling, and officially a Wattpad Featured Novel!** Two juniors in high school, each fresh out of a breakup, thousands of miles away from each other. Connor Hall and Sydney Porter didn't expect anything to happen when they were assigned to be each other's pen pals at their respective schools, yet feelings can emerge from anything, even simple letters. Written completely in notes, texts, and social media posts, Dear Sydney is a modern take on the conventional love story, proving that you don't have to be close in miles to be close in your hearts. Ali Benning is a poor, ambitious girl who lives in the slums of Dock Garren, the backdoor of the affluent city of Ballard where she'd been attending the prestigious schools along with the rich kids through a string of scholarships year after year. Seth Wallace is the poster boy for happy-go-lucky rich boys who were too cute and too rich for their own good and he's determined to distract Ali to insanity. Will their two worlds crash and burn with them caught in between or will they prove to everyone that love is crazy, sweet? **Note by the Author** Hello readers! Just wanted to let you know that this is an earlier work I've finished several years ago. It's not very polished and I'm going in every now and then to edit it but I thought you'd all want to read the story all the way to the end so here it is. There are two things Harper Lynch wasn't expecting when she made out with an attractive stranger at her aunt's wedding. One: He would show up on her doorstep two weeks later as the son of an old family friend. Two: That he would be staying in her house, right next door to her. If living together isn't enough, Duke starts to go to Harper's school for the year, and immediately earns the status of the senior heartthrob. Suddenly, Harper, the girl who keeps mostly to herself and spends a lot of time in her room watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathons, is the envy of every girl in her high school. Harper couldn't care less, and despite that fact that she has insisted that she has in no interest in Duke, she is still subject to the wrath of jealous, catty bitches and the admiration of wide-eyed freshmen. It really doesn't help that Duke is constantly flirting with her in his own irritating yet charming way. Harper refuses to be yet another conquest, but is that what Duke wants? Or does he want more?

High school in the early 90s: it was before cell phones and social media, but the problems were the same. How do you get the guy you're interested in to notice you? What happens if you fall in love with your best friend? Why does physics class keep factoring into your love life? This novella is loosely based on my own high school experiences... but sort of an alternate version of them. You can only make one set of choices in life, so it's fun to explore what could have been - but wasn't - in fiction. Also, set in 1991-92, this is kind of a period piece now! In some ways it's a love letter to the teen books I read back in the 80s and 90s, in particular those by Ellen Conford and Paula Danzinger. I hope you enjoy it. This story was featured on Wattpad in 2016.
