A virus has taken over, turning the dead into flesh eating monsters. Beth has been on her own for two years, after getting separated from her little brother. Beth is torn between choosing the right thing to do, or fall in love,which will lead to a certain death. All she knows is that she must fight the dead, and fear the living.

They ran away from the prison, as the Governor bombs everything by a tank. A lot of walkers grouped there, not safe in the prison. They all ran away by groups. And Beth stayed with Daryl. They keep tracking others, but they still can't find them. They talk. A lot. Beth understands that they're almost the same, just Daryl keeps it deep inside. He's shy to show his emotions, but Beth changes this. She is that light, that helped him to have a hope, to believe. They fall for each other, and then they face up a lot of problems, in struggle to be a couple, or to survive.
