The doctors nicknamed it 'blurry face', and there's absolutely nothing they can do about it; Dan will have to live without faces. That is, until he meets Phil Lester - the 'bad boy' of Dan's new school - who's face is strangely visible to Dan; much to Dan's wonder and Phil's distaste.

It started with two boys and a mental ward. A blue eyed boy who couldn't sleep and saw things that didn't exist, and a brown eyed boy who heard voices in his head and had suicidal tendencies.

Vic Fuentes never thought anything bad would happen to him. He had a pretty decent life; star-player of the soccer team at his high school, good grades, girls swooning over him. Vic never really took danger precautions seriously. One drunken night, he’s dared to go into the woods alone in the middle of the night while drunk to sleep there. That’s the night when his mindset about danger changed. Kellin Quinn-Bostwick was always the loner boy. His life was as low as someone’s life could get; abusive parents, bad grades, no friends.
