He lit his cigarette, I lit nothing. He drank alcohol, I drank water. He smirked, I smiled. He didn't love me, I didn't love him. He and I together wouldn't last a day. And then the game started... He said he found me intriguing, unique, and interesting because I didn't swoon over him. "You and me Grey, let's play a game. We'll date and in three months time I promise you will fall for me. When you fall in love with me between that time span, I win. If in any way you were to win I'll give up all the alcohol, cigarettes, and player ways." It was a game I wasn't willing to lose, but all games had accidents and consequences. It takes a broken heart to know how to break a heart.

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT<3 "Im serious kitten. No one believes me." I got angry. "So you told everyone that you stole her innocence, laughed at her, treated her like shit and now you're here pitying yourself." He got angry. "Hails the story isn't true. I didn't do it." A moment of silence. We were both staring at each other trying to read each other. I finally spoke up. "Dont call me Hails." He looked confused but then he smirked. "Ok kitten it is." I grew angrier. "No not kitten. HAILEY. That is my name and that is what you will call me. I am not your pet to call me kitten and you dont deserve to call me Hails. GOT IT?!" He was shocked by my outburst but then he smiled. Not a smirk but a real smile. "Ok Hailey, I just wanted to tell you thank you for...you know Friday." "Yeah yeah no problem. " I was about to walk away but then he turned his back and was cursing himself. I had 2 choices: pretend to not see him and walk away or... well lets just say I did something reckless and stupid. I walked up to him and hugged him from behind. He was definitely not expecting that and he was stiff. A second later he loosened up and turned around and hugged me the proper way. He hugged me TIGHTLY. So tight I couldn't escape even if I wanted too. Honestly, I didn't want too. I know this is weird and all but that hug was real and full of emotion if that makes any sense. I felt his sadness through it. I decided to break the silence and whispered, "Why me?" He whispered back, "Why you what?" "Why did you decide to tell me?" "Because you're the only girl who doesn't giggle every time I speak." We both chuckled. We were still hugging mind you. "Hailey, I'm sorry I just feel so... so..." He couldn't find the right word but I knew it. I finished for him. "Alone." He moved just enough to look into my eyes. He was still holding me. His eyes were unreadable. I got scared, thinking I said or did something wrong. But then he smiled. "Yeah...alone."
