In the vanity mirror, a stranger stared back at me. A bride in red. A soulless doll. With a heavy sigh, I began removing the endless pins from my dupatta, loosening the choker, the jewelry. Only my anklets and bangles remained. The door clicked open. Shut with a thud. My heart stopped. I grabbed my dupatta, draping it over my shoulders. He strode toward me, his eyes burning. In fury, he yanked my hair back. Pain seared my scalp. "Why the fuck did you remove this?" he roared. "Don't you know you have to wait for your dear husband?" His voice dripped with psychotic pleasure. "Oh? Were you too desperate to be fucked by your husband?" In one swift motion, he yanked the dupatta away and shoved me onto the bed. I crawled backwards, fear clawing at my chest. Within seconds, he was half-naked, towering over me. He grabbed my leg, dragging me under him, his entire weight crushing my fragile body.

He wasn't heartless. Just... unconvinced. Of love. Of women. Of promises that sound too pretty to be true. She wasn't broken. Just quietly aching. To be seen. To be wanted for who she is, not who she's expected to be. He inherited empires. She inherited emptiness. And when fate ties them together, love doesn't enter gently- It cracks the walls, shakes the ground, and demands to be felt. Loving Through Your Darkness Two hearts. One lie. And a love story neither of them believed they deserved.

**"Parvati was never wanted. Not when she was born, not when she learned to read, and certainly not when she turned twenty-two long past the 'right age' for a village bride. Dark-skinned and unwanted, she was a burden her parents were desperate to throw away. So they found Shiv the drunk youngest son of a poor farmer, heartbroken and ignored by his own family. A man they believed would ruin her life faster than they ever could. But fate has a strange way of mocking cruelty. What began as a marriage of neglect slowly became a story of two broken people mending each other, one quiet act of love at a time."** ---

Dark Romance | Mature themes | 18+ There was a time when Rudransh Singh Thakur believed in love. A time when power wasn't everything. When silence didn't define him. But that was before betrayal. It made him ruthless now. Now, at thirty-four, Rudransh stood as a man the world feared a minister, whose silence carried more weight than words ever could. Nothing touched him anymore. Nothing except one. His son. Aryaman Singh Thakur Five years old. A child who had learned early that people leave... and promises don't stay. If Rudransh had built walls, Aryaman had learned to live within them. And then, she entered. Not with power. Not with demand. But with silence that matched theirs. Ishani Sharma A woman who had known pain in ways she never spoke of. Who carried her past like a shadow she couldn't outrun. Who held her child as if that alone was reason enough to survive. She didn't belong in his world. And yet, she became a part of it. A marriage not built on love, but on necessity. On power. On a name she never asked to carry. He didn't want her. His son wouldn't accept her. But she stayed. Not loudly. Not forcefully. Just... there. And in the middle of it all... there was Arohi, breathing life into the silence. A child too young to understand pain, yet the only one who carried light into a life built on shadows. And in a house where silence ruled, where love had once been broken and buried. something began to shift. Not all at once. Not enough to be called love. But enough... to change everything. Because behind power, behind silence, behind every unspoken truth lies a story hidden beneath the VEIL OF THRONE (A/n : This book is for mature audiences, contains explicit content.
