I started these in my Wattpad 101 as a joke chapter that showcases all the cliches among various genres. I started with Fan Fiction, moved on to Fantasy and Sci Fi... and to be honest, I like writing these funny "shorts". I had a lot of ideas and not all of them really fit as Wattpad 101 chapters, so I decided to turn all of these one-off chapters in into a compendium of short satires. They can get a pretty lowbrow so we'll see how long before the Mature rating gets added, so enjoy!

'Elthríel listened with rapt attention as Finrod, laying on his back and staring at the clear sky above him, spoke about the beauty of the Trees of Valinor. He rarely spoke to her now, not that he had ever made a habit to talk with her, but this was the first time she had ever hear him talk about the days in Valinor, now seeming so long ago. She had never heard him speak of those days with anyone. 'Since the days held captive in the dungeons of Morgoth, any memory of the beauty and brightness of the days in Valinor seemed like a distant dream, half-forgotten. But when she heard Finrod speak of them, they seemed at once real and alive; she felt that she only had to stretch forth her hand and touch the leaves of Laurelin.' Fading Light follows, for the most part, the tale of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien, so if you haven't read it yet, I would encourage you to do so. :D Hopefully you like this story! Having just graduated, Penelope is ready to kick back and enjoy her last summer before college starts. However, a few things stand in her way. First, there's the fact that Xavier and Gray have both sent her vague emails that maybe, possibly, mean "want to go out with me." (And her answer, in both cases, is, "When did I trip and fall into a teen romance novel?") Second, her parents are becoming a bit suspicious about the amount of times she's sneaking off to go "paint Eliza's brother's toenails." In any case, this codeword wasn't bound to last long. Third, and most importantly, Sir Dastardly decided to make a grand entrance (although really, when you insist on wearing a top hat taller than your arm is long, any entrance is grand) and announce that the world is in peril once more and only Pen can save it. Though to be honest, at this point? It's pretty much wash, rinse and repeat. [Sequel to "How I Saved the World (Or So They Told Me)"] [COMPLETED]

Pen's uncle is a cop, and ever since she was able to crawl, she was being versed in the arts of stranger danger (and possibly a few karate, ninja-like moves). So when some unknown guy begins to chat her up through her car window, and then goes on to watch her as she drives away, she does what she's been taught: she goes to the cops. However, this turns out to be the least suspicious thing to occur in the following week. A new boy at Penelope's school invites her over to dinner, and suddenly she's being informed that she's involved in a prophecy (which was written on, excuse me, is that toilet paper?) to help stop an evil mastermind named Sir Dastardly and reclaim the prized Purity Crystal. Pen's reaction? (Well, after she goes a little crazy with her stun gun.) For reasons she still can't explain, to help him and his family take down Sir Dastardly and-so they tell her-to help save the world. Well, not all evil plots end the way we assume, right? [COMPLETED]

Update: This story has been discontinued. - I am terribly sorry. Your mother lied to you. She told you that you were unique, and that as a teenager you have a whole bunch of options you can choose from to determine who you want to be. She must have been high. Look, I'm going to tell you this honestly. Somewhere out there in this floating sphere of green and blue, there's a person who acts just like you. It's the combinations of different personalities - which eventually lead up to an actual human being - that makes us all unique. But it can't hurt to find out where your personality stems from, right? Wanna know who you are? I'll help you out. There are 36 students in my classroom. Which one are you?
