I raised a brow at Charlie, crossing my arms and and grin spread along my lips. "What's up golden boy? Scared to take on a lady?" I teased. Charlie reflected off a smirk. He then took a couple of steps towards me, leaning down and letting his lips brush my ear when he whispered. "I'm not scared, sweetheart." Feeling his warm breath run down my neck as he slowly placed his hands over my hips and bringing me closer. "More like curious." ~~~ Seventeen-year-old Emma Sylvent is a student at Eagle Rock High School, straight out of Paris, France and now lives in L.A. Her father is a high organised rich criminal, to which her mother is in it as well. And because of this, she's learned how to make a small living of getting paid by black mailing people. Her mother wants her take over the business that the family runs, and hopes that Emma will be successful, they moved out from Paris, France to L.A a year ago for her better education. But Emma is not too interested in what her parents have planned for her and instead thinks it's better that her younger sister takes the job instead when their father retires. Because of her disagreement, this puts the relationship between her and her mother in a really bad place, makes her a little rough around the edges. She doesn't believe in love and is not interested in something romantic. That is, until she meets Charlie Holt. A student who has a reputation for being the school star rugby player who has moved to L.A from Scotland a year ago and currently lives the luxury life under his mother's fortune. The seventeen-year-old boy may have a reputation at school, but even someone who seems like Mr. Perfect has their own little secrets. WARNING!
