Somewhat awkward teenager Parker Price is determined to make her future worth while –which means she has to get good grades in high school in order to get into the right university in order to get a proper job. But once Parker gets accepted into the prestigious private school a few blocks from her house she soon finds that pressure between school and life in general is just too much and because of that she stops sleeping and eating and doing regular things people are supposed to do. That is, until one night she nearly kills herself.
