In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. There wouldn't be changes in the plot, just hopefully a better way of sharing my thoughts. If it's still crap, then I apologize I'm only human :) ****

Delanie West woke up from a coma not even remembering her name. She was told she got hit by a car, and it definitely wasn't an accident. Then, her brother handed her a journal, one he had given her about a year ago. In it, Delanie had told the story of her life as it started to go downhill. Now, she was reading through her life as though it was someone else's, something from a work of a fiction. As Delanie began to realize how obvious people could be to other's suffering, she noticed the suffering of a few others. She recognized the signs from what the old Delanie had written. So, she set out to help them, along with finding out who hit her with a car and why. And, maybe find a little romance along the way. "Her name was Delanie, but her and I are two different people." Soren McKinin; the disappointment of the family, the child his parents wished did not belong to them, the type fathers warned their daughters not to date. Anger issues, a heartless brute that got into fights and saw the world as dark grey, helpless and pointless lump of rock. He was incapable of happiness, of love. So Soren would fall, he'd fall unnoticed and unwanted. He would fall just like snow.
