I have had a very eventful life. The stories that I post are from real events that I have witnessed. Some of them are quite humorous, some may be totally outrageous and shocking, but all of them are true (Most of the time, real events are lots better than fiction anyway). I hope that when you read these clips from my life that it may bring a smile to your face and make your day a little more pleasant, or make you count your blessings! Copyright 2014 Lloyd Benson

An incredible true story - in 1964 my father, British Javelin champion John McSorley, built a man-size box and shipped it from Heathrow airport. The airfreight was human; his friend Reg Spiers, a penniless young Australian athlete desperate to get home and win back his girl. He was in for the ride of his life; a nightmarish cocktail of turbulent cargo holds, forklift truck disasters and mind-altering dehydration. He’d risk everything for Annie, but little did she know, they'd soon be skipping bail on drug-smuggling charges. Follow the true-crime exploits of the young couple and their years of gripping, high-stakes dramas through India, Africa and Sri Lanka.

This novella follows Penny Polonsky just months after the conclusion of the first SOS thriller, THE SILENCE OF SIX. After helping Max Stein expose a massive conspiracy behind a popular social networking site, Penny has moved on to life at a local college while also moonlighting as a white-hat hacker. She's also struggling to keep afloat her long-distance relationship with Max. Penny is up late working one night when she gets a cryptic online message. She can't tell whether it's a practical joke, an alternate reality game, or someone truly reaching out for help. She tries to avoid the draw of the puzzle, but Penny's curiosity gets the better of her, and she must crack open the chain of difficult clues and pop culture references to get to the bottom of who is reaching out to her and what they want. DOUBLETHINK connects the dots between the critically acclaimed THE SILENCE OF SIX and its gripping sequel, AGAINST ALL SILENCE, by letting us inside the head of one of its most intriguing characters. Question - What does an ambitious journalist and the wife of a successful writer have in common? Answer - Getting to the truth, chasing the money, and then each other of course. This is a story of a reclusive writer called Curtis. He came out of nowhere, became the New York Times best seller overnight and accumulated wealth beyond measure. The trouble was nobody knew how he did it, because he refused to give interviews. Cue Jake, an equally obsessional journalist who didn't take no for an answer. However, getting to meet the reclusive Curtis was only half the battle. He didn't account for the duplicity, and deception he'd have to uncover just to get to the truth.

She thought the world was against her and being loved just wasn't for her, until she met four boys determined to change that. (the writing in this is certainly not my best, just a heads up) warning: this book deals with triggering topics such as eating disorders, self-harm, and suicide.
