This story is not exactly following the movies, but I am trying to make it do that as much as possible. I was thinking about Valka could leave with Hiccup, but it wouldn't be the same so Hiccup and Valka will meet, but they will meet when Hiccup is 15 and not 20. It does have some spoilers because, in this story, Hiccup and toothless are friends ever since they were both 11 months old(they were also born/hatched on the same day). Give it a chance and it will maybe turn out to be great. It's my first how to train your dragon story/fanfic so don't expect me to do great.

Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.

When a strange man in strange clothes with a strange language and strange ways and--okay, fine. A strange man was falling from the sky when Hiccup and Toothless caught him. He and the gang took him to the beach, but when the dragons got too aggressive, they attacked. Find out what happens to the strange man if he isn't burnt and died a most painful death!! Everything goes to Rick Riordan and all that HTTYD stuff on Netflix and movies based on Cressida Cowell's book series except the plot. The plot is mine.

One day, Hiccup went with Toothless on an errand by Stoick but during the errand, Toothless accidentally bitten his best friend and transforms him into a Night fury. Hiccup gets hit by a Night Fury. A transformation begins and he starts a new adventure. Takes place at the beginning of How to Train Your Dragon. Anti Hicstrid, HiccupxOC/Shastrisk I guess, you will find out why that is soon enough. A little rushed. Story gets better later.
