Levy McGarden never had a good life. She wanted the goody-goody gumdrop, happy, in-love life. Fate simply wouldn't let her. She no longer cared about herself. Then, she meets someone as intriguing and cold as her messed up life, Gajeel Redfox, and Levy's whole world spirals out of control. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bullying, degrading names and abuse are used throughout the book. Levy McGarden was a normal girl at the Fairy Tail Academy. When a celebrity moves to her school she knew her ordinary life was about to take a big turn. Gajeel Redfox is a transfer student from Phantom Lord High School. He was a huge celebrity among the schools. He was the lead singer of a heavy metal band called "The Dragon Slayers". When one girl catches his attention, what will happen to his band?

Levy's father died and her mother is an out of control alcoholic. She lives on a never ending routine of abuse and despair. That is, until her mother decides that they need money and Levy must marry a wealthy man. She is forced to marry Gajeel Redfox. When things go south for the team, and Levy finds herself in more trouble than she had bargained for, Gajeel rushes to her rescue.
