This tree was most likely 80 - 100 years old and was the conglomeration of about six or eight trees in one. It was breathtaking and majestic. It represented life, hope and family. The ants destroyed the tree slowly and it had to be taken away along with my dreams and memories that were attached to it. There wasn't any advanced notice of it's removal and one day when I came home, something big was missing~ It felt like a magician appeared and mysteriously made my house vanish... It took me a moment to contain reality and then I realized it was the tree that was missing... and the loss in my heart was all the same.
