Wren and Kenna hated each other in high school. Now mature-ish adults, they still hate each other. The problem? They're engaged. A year away from marriage, according to two of the most powerful people in the world: their parents. ***** Wren Castile and Kenna Gold are engaged...because their parents say so (and no, they're not kidding). Wren has one year to marry her former nemesis, or else. The fact that Kenna emulated her infamously anti-gay father throughout high school seems to be irrelevant--even to Kenna herself. Suddenly Wren and the girl she never wanted to see again are on the same (bickering) side as they face mandatory dates, disastrous family get-togethers, and their unhappy past. Wren is filled with mistrust, but to protect her heart, she might just have to sit back and let it lead the way. Content/Trigger Warning: This story contains references to and/or scenes of homophobia, childhood trauma, bullying, violence, and suicide. [ BOOK 1 OF AZITERA: YTHER'S QUEEN ] Consumed by avarice, the four human kingdoms-the Infernal Empire, the Kingdom of Caelum, the Kingdom of Treterra, and the Nayale Archipelago-betrayed their covenant with Yther of Azitera, the race blessed by deities, who protected humans for untold centuries. They slaughtered and defiled the beings that once protected them from storm, famine, poverty, and pestilence without mercy. Betrayed by the humans they protected, the Ytherians were enslaved. Their four queens were caged, chained, and imprisoned to serve as nutrients to the human kingdoms. The once prominent Ytherians were reduced to nothing but servants. As the four kingdoms of the human race prospered for many years since their betrayal, one news staggered them, causing them to tremble in fear and rally their armies to protect and defend their domain: Sollel-the Mistress of Flame, one of Yther's queens-had escaped her prison. Her flames will raze hell, ready to burn the souls of her betrayers. COMPLETED CECELIB | C.C. COVER: ASTRID JAYDEE

Even though all teenagers' lives are challenging in their own ways, Jackson's takes a complicated turn the day he catches Alex Cole in the guy's locker room posing in front of a mirror wearing nothing but a pair of dingy tighty whities. While the rest of the school worries that the recent mountain lion sightings in the woods might have something to do with the star quarterback's disappearance, Jackson worries that Alex is going to rearrange his face in a manner that will make any attempts at future dating impossible. When an unhinged Alex corners Jackson in the woods, Jackson responds by miraculously breaking the laws of gravity. He soon realizes that his emerging superpower is connected to a dark secret, forcefully suppressed after the long ago deaths of all those involved, including Jackson's own parents. "Look," he said sternly, his green eyes blazing with anger as he looked down at the small woman before him. The dark skin that covered her body made him want to reach out and lose himself completely in her beauty and those dark chocolate eyes weren't helping. He gave a frustrated sigh when she stared up at him with an innocence only she would have. "I don't like this anymore than you do, but for the time being you're going to have to stay with me, just until the chaos dies down." She crossed her perfectly toned arms across her small chest and frowned. "This isn't my fault," she huffed, "You lied to me. I - I didn't know you were famous!" - - - What was meant to be a simple one night stand just to show her friends that she wasn't always a goody two shoes ended up turning her life upside down thanks to a certain rockstar. But who said her life was perfect in the first place? Maybe this was what she needed to figure out who she really was. #18 in Chicklit 08/30/17 (I promise I love you guys) #15 in Chicklit 09/02/17 #14 in Chicklit 09/04/17 #12 in Chicklit 09/14/17 #9 in Chicklit 10/14/17 #5 in Chicklit 10/20/17 #175 in Romance 8/9/18 #130 in Romance 8/10/18 #24 in Romance 12/6/19

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction
