"Why do you care so much?" Tessa asked, staring at me with half-lidded eyes as she leaned her head back against the recliner. She looked so serious, almost too serious, but I could tell she was asking with genuine curiosity. I wanted to give her a straight-forward answer, yet all I could do was shrug. "I don't know," I muttered. "Maybe because that's the only thing keeping me alive?" The corners of her mouth turned up, and a long silence followed afterwards. Eventually, I gave up our staring contest with a sigh and stood from the nest of blankets I had made in the corner of the couch. "You know, caring isn't such a bad thing," I said over my shoulder as I padded down the hall towards the kitchen. "You should try it sometime." ~ . ~ . ~ Teagan is a freshman at Bronson University of Art and Design. She lives comfortably in a dorm with her three roommates, visits her thirty-something boyfriend on the weekends, and, on occasion, kisses girls when no one's looking. **This is a story of self-discovery, sexual exploration, and the stigmas placed on bisexuals and other members of the LGBTQA+ community.

the boy leaned over and handed her the the striped sweater he had been wearing. she smiled as she pulled it on. "i love you, beautiful." he said. the girl only shook her head, now wanting the heavy wool to be as far away as possible. "no you dont. why would you say that?" "cause it's too cold for you here and now so let me hold both your hands in the holes of my sweater." ♥ one time the boy told her he loved her. and that she was beautiful. but he had lied. if she was truly beautiful, then he would have stayed because their love was too strong. “i guess it wasn't.” she said out loud. she said it outloud because alice thought things sounded better that way. thats what he had told her anyways.

For 2,000 years, man has walked the earth, and after the thousandth year of existence, a large kingdom was born. Vird, the One Kingdom, held seven smaller kingdoms, each ruled by a king. For nearly another thousand years, Vird thrived and its people were one with each other. That is until the Seventh Kingdom broke off all connections unexpectedly and fell into a deep darkness. Now it is up to old legends, stories, and even mankind itself to stop this strange darkness from overwhelming the One Kingdom before it's too late.
