Dragons are all but extinct. They are nothing but stories told to children to keep them in check when they have done something bad. Little does everyone know that Dragons are real. A long time ago there was a group of people who called themselves The Dragon Keepers. Dragons were still around back then and the Keepers did everything in their power to keep things peaceful between them and humanity. But then the Purge came. Another group of people called the Council who ruled over all of humanity decided that the Dragons could no longer be trusted and were something to be feared. So...In order to "protect" humanity from the viscous creatures, the Council wiped the Dragons from existence. Save for one egg and a book of Dragon Lore. Now the day has come where the Dragon egg is ready to be hatched and revealed to the world. But the Keeper who saved it has yet to find someone ready and willing to take on the job. In his small town hidden on an island in the middle of nowhere, the Keeper discovers one such person. A young girl by the name of Xenath. And though she has no last name and no family, the Keeper knows she is the one who will continue on with the Keeper's knowledge and quest...And possibly even bring the Keepers back to life.
