The Fallen Queen
BaskinWRITES
"Eyes a'shining, lantern bright,
"Take their victims in the night,
"Leave the bodies, baking in day,
"Knifelike ears mark the scout of the fae,
"Muscles taut, face all wan,
"Wise folk beware: the Sidhe Danann."
Humanity and the fae have often been at odds, waging quiet war betwixt the sidhe mounds that separate and bind their worlds.
The elves, sidhe danann, once sought to mediate their conflict, and for a time there was peace.
And then the elves went mad.
Kelen is a bartender, existing in a world plunged into fear and superstition. The elves that once protected humanity prey upon them, and the fae roam the moors, organised into the savage Wild Hunt.
But it is humanity's own madness that often proves to be their greatest enemy.
(Once again, expect this story to be constantly honed and edited)
