No one understood him. No one knew where he came from. No one knew what he was like or who he was. No one knew why he did the the things he did. But everyone knows who he is. To put it simply, he's Jasper. [story told in verse]

She has to repeat the story of her abuse and eating disorders to her family and the court- the whole world may as well have her heart on a silver platter. Torn between people who care too much and people who blame her for her problems, Leigh finds herself searching for a refuge. But everywhere she turns, she finds something that makes her want to scream. So she searches for the only things that are "missing" from her life: peace... and a mother.
