After Caroline helps him getting out of New Orleans she tells him how he was 5 years in that wall, how Haley has been doing everything in her power to get the Originals back and how along the way she became good friends with Haley and his daughter and also how Hope is best friends with her daughters. In here Caroline didn't got back with Stefan. Nothing happened to Enzo nor Damon. Caroline didn't married Alaric but they continued to live in Dallas trying to live as normal as they could. This story won't follow what happened in the TVD/TO universe.
