Book 4 in the Star of Gryffindor Series! After Wren Predatel was found alone in Hogsmeade after a large-scale attempted break in at Hogwarts, no one knew exactly what to do with her. A trial is whipped up to decide her fate, but the two key witnesses aren't even allowed to attend. Astra Lestrange is given a firm "No" to all her begging to go. Her aunt thinks it's the last thing she needs, and the Potters give the same verdict regarding James. After all, they've been through enough already; the last thing they need is to watch an old (traitorous?) friend get sentenced to Azkaban. There may be bigger things to worry about this year than Wren, though. It is Hogwarts' turn to host an old tradition, and everyone is excited. The only problem? Last time this happened at Hogwarts, someone died. And there's no guarantee it won't happen again. Join Astra in her most thrilling year yet, with new friends and enemies arising, and adventures more dangerous than any she's faced yet. Started: 6/8/16 Ended: 1/28/17

This is a sequel! To avoid spoilers to Star of Gryffindor, please read that before reading this! Astra Lewis and Albus and James Potter are back at Hogwarts, this time for a (hopefully) much less dangerous year. But after Wren Predatels's shocking betrayal, Astra is having a hard time. Albus and James seemed to have moved on all right, but for Astra, it's different. It's a very hard thing to find out your first and closest friend was never really there for you. Not to mention all the changes going on. With a new Ministry-appointed headmaster, things are being run a bit differently. There's a clingy, annoying first year who instantly latches onto Astra, but gets sorted into the wrong House. And, Astra's nightmares are getting worse, driving her roommates insane. Not to mention the strange new girl, a transfer from Beauxbatons, who not only seems mysterious, but is apparently interested in the Dark Arts. All of this pales in comparison to the attempts to kidnap James. Astra and her friends are wary of everything now, but somehow, someone is slipping past their defenses... Scorpius Malfoy, son of Draco Malfoy, restored his family's status in the Wizarding World using his wit and charms in Hogwarts. The dark days are over now. But that doesn't mean that the Gryffindor-Slytherin hatred vanished. They still competed in academics and sports. Scorpius grew up to be the cleverest in their year. No, wait. He wasn't the cleverest. Rose Weasley, daughter of Ron and Hermione Weasley, was also gunning for that title. Both of them had been neck and neck in everything. They always badgered and got on each other's nerves. But there was a silent attraction that both of them knew, though none of them spoke about. It wasn't until in their fifth year in Hogwarts that Scorpius realized just how much 'serious' this silent attraction could be. And he would do everything to stop himself for falling for the enemy. The question now was, could he? Life was hard. But life was harder when you fall in love with someone you shouldn't.

Seventy-four years has been long enough. The way of the infamous Hunger Games has been altered. No longer is every Gamemaker out to devise the worst means of torture and death for every tribute. No longer are the people of Panem outwardly tolerant of President Snow's murderous actions. Under the facade of a normal group of Gamemakers, several rebellious citizens have begun an experiment which, if it succeeds, will make use of technology both to rescue the tributes before they are dead and then deposit the brainwashed children back in time. They have to try it. No one knows what horrors future Hunger Games may bring, and the desperate rebels are willing to try anything. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions of District 2, Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have trained their whole lives for the Games. Nevertheless, their ambitions change when they, without meaning to, find themselves in the Games together. They are both determined to win. But if they don't, what will happen to them? The brainwashed tributes who land in New York City know nothing of who they are or where they are from. They do not remember Panem, or the Games, or even their own names. This is a science fiction story based off the Hunger Games and its characters. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Hunger Games! This story is based around a plot twist I created, but all rights go to Suzanne Collins, the author of the original series.
