We've all read Frankenstein. We've all read, seen, heard, or... tasted Frankenstein (don't look at me, Halloween has some funky food). We're all familiar with the sickly, stitched-together cacophony of human bits and bobs. Frankenstein. The creature, if you will. What we've forgotten is the monster it's named after. ***** In this modern spin-off of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," the mic has moved from beneath the creature's shriveled black lips, and beneath those of Victor Frankenstein. Pink, plump, and healthy, Victor's lips holds no resemblance to those of his notorious namesake. What surfaces from said lips may as well have been. As Victor faces the thing of his nightmares; this thing that seems to have been birthed from a grave, I just hope Mary Shelley isn't rolling in hers. Copyright © 2020 by Kyle Lee.
