wherein the gray boy bursts into an abundance of colors

nick was the mysterious outcast. he stayed away from people, isolating himself from everyone but yet everyone was so intrigued by him. violet was new to town. she was quiet and always blacking out randomly to escape her horrid life. one day, nick finds himself watching violet stare blankly at a cafeteria table, her lips slightly parted and fallen hair on her face. something about violet reeled nick to leave his empty table and go to hers. and thats when it all started.

She gets bullied almost everyday and is treated like trash. Until Nick, the bad boy, takes an interest in her. He's rude to everyone but Juliette and he doesn't even know why. Soon, he becomes very protective of her. Juliette starts to become happy again and Nick does everything he can to make sure she stays that way.

Hailee Martin has no friends. She's the girl who eats lunch by herself everyday and ends up doing partner projects alone. But Hailee doesn't actually care. To her, high school is a waste of time and the relationships you make in high school are fleeting. That is, until she meets Nick Robinson, the school bad boy who seems to notice her in a way no one else does. Will Hailee make an exception for him? Or is he just like everyone else?
