After causing crimes for years, The Menaces have been recognized as an unstoppable gang! With each attempt at keeping them locked up, the police had failed countless times. Jail was way too easy to escape for these intelligent and crafty hedgehogs. The heroes of Mobius band together with the police force, and the Zone Cops from the No Zone, and discuss what to do with The Seven Menaces. They all decide to transfer them to the Zone Jail in the No Zone, the place where the baddest of the bad from across the multiverse goes. The Menaces must face their fellow inmates as they endure their time there, powerless. They soon discover early on that they are to be sentenced there for life, and will have to be bullied constantly by Scourge and his gang during their stay. Soon fed up to the point of breaking completely, Split decides to form an escape plan. They unfortunately may need Scourge's help since he had escaped the jail before. The Menaces risk it and try to form a temporary alliance with Scourge and his gang, earning their trust in them. Planning to make this the biggest break of all time, Split decides to escape on the seventh month on the seventh day, signifying that The Seven Menaces cannot be stopped for good!

Sonic and the gang visit one of the biggest and most ancient caves in all of Mobius for a Summer activity. What started off as a harmless, self-guided tour, soon became a danger to their lives. The gang becomes split up, as the roof begins to cave in. They must go on a journey to find each other again and find their way out, without cell phone reception, or a map. When Sonic and Shadow get stuck together, they may find that they work better together than they thought, perhaps in more than one way.
