This story is about a 14 year old girl and how scoliosis deeply affects her life and how it changes her perspective on the world.

At the age of 12 I was diagnosed with scoliosis, a condition where the spine curves in a way that it shouldn't. I recorded my journey here because it's a hard thing to go through and I don't want you to feel like you are going through this alone. I apologise for the terrible writing near the beginning, like I said, I was a lot younger when I started this. Please feel free to ask questions, it doesn't matter how silly they might sound. This is a story about the journey of a girl who finds out she has scoliosis. I MADE UP this story, but used my own experiences with having scoliosis. I wanted to write this story to show people what it is like to have scoliosis and that you are not the only one.

This is a true story. I wish I could say it were some beautiful romance, or a story of triumph. But it's not. It's mine. It's a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, a dizzying spin of doctors, loves, and hurt. I can't guarantee you a happy ending, but you may as well come along for the ride. After all, I'm not broken yet. Author's Note: I was diagnosed with scoliosis just months ago, but somehow I failed to see how my spine could curve my life. I promise everything I write about is true, although I did change names for the sake of this piece. This book is a work in progress, and so am I. To those who have felt broken: stand tall, for you don't stand alone.

This is a story about a young girl with scoliosis. I'm writing it cause there aren't many books on this topic and I feel like there need to be more. Lots of girls with scoliosis struggle with the feeling of being alone, so I guess this story is to show you that you aren't.
