I never thought that Sage could be crumbled so easily, and because of one man's evil soul. I was sent here from a peaceful world to fix a broken one and I won't fail. I can't fail. Sage depends on me but the stakes keep rising, and I'm left wondering why I'm doing this. I don't know anything about this time, or this land. I don't want to die, but it seems that everything else wants me dead. Why did I ever volunteer for this? Nobody told me the Mali would be here, and they sure as heck didn't tell me that this world is broken beyond compare. How can I fix it? The Mali have destroyed everything. They will kill me, but it's only a matter of when and how.

The girl turned the corner, clutching the the flashlight shakily. It was the only object in this horrible place. Loud footsteps echoed through the hallway that she had just turned onto, getting closer and closer, and yet, she couldn't see a thing. They grew louder, causing her to quickly shut the flash light off and crouch down in the darkness. "P-please no." She whimpered, covering her ears when the footsteps got unbearably loud. And then, they stopped. Horrified, the girl took her hands away from her ears and tried to see through the pitch-black darkness, but still couldn't sense anyone nearby. "H-hello?" She squeaked, trying to find the switch on her flashlight. A soft chuckle came from behind her, sending shivers down the girl's spine. And that's when she heard it, that same hoarse voice that haunted her nightmares. "You're never leaving." +++ Phew, hi guys!
