There are no countries, no borders. Technology and humanity work hand in hand as one; where information is always available and in reach, and it doesn't take any effort, not even the push of a button. In the New World, every person has a programming chip attatched to their brain, where information comes automatically. In the New World, everyone is born blind and def, and knows nothing about themselves. Their personalities are a blank slate waiting to be written on. The New World is perfection, and a dream come true. Like all the other people in the New World, Laila was born blind and deaf, and had no idea about herself. She and the other Youths grew up in small separate isolated rooms with one toilet, one bed, and no windows-with no human contact what-so-ever. Her job was to learn about the rules, society, the rights, the wrongs, and customs of the New World to prepare for when she and all the other Youths would be set free. She ate, gained information, and slept, in the same routine of every day, of every week, of every year in her life, until Recognition Day. At age 16, the Youths gain their sight, their personalities, their likes, their dislikes, their name, and so much more. Based on their assigned personalities, they are given a job, their friends, their favorite things, etc. On that day, Laila gets a life, the best life she could ever imagine. But maybe she's not living the life she expected. And maybe, the New World isn't as perfect as she's been taught. WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD, WE HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR STAY... ### Book 1

Mathew Jenson is a seemingly normal and mundane man living your average life. Beautiful fiance, nice house, dream job...but, when he finds himself dieing at the end of each day and restarting that same day over again when he wakes up, it becomes apparent that he is more than just your everyday editor. Will he figure out why this is happening to him and make it stop? He is willing to go through hell and back to figure it out; which very well may be what he needs to do.

My first story (yes, finally not a poem). Currently its just a first draft, very short story, but if people like it I may expand on it and turn it into an actual book, although it just kinda happened, like most of what I write, I just put it to 'paper' so not sure about what the rest of the story will be.
